Our client had originally struggled to find an architect or building company who were able to come up with some credible ideas on how to build a large modern kitchen / dining extension to the rear of their property, while making sure it was in keeping with the period and style of the main building.
After a number of consultations, Simon Michael Homes, along with our architects, proposed a scheme which gave the client everything they had asked for, together with further suggestions and ideas.
In all, this scheme enhanced architecturally the rear elevation to their property and also allowed for the tidying up of previous projects done many years ago.
Exceptional attention to detail allowed a large extension to sit unnoticed by using near perfect brick matching, reclaimed copings, detailed decorative brick to the new window sills, matching bespoke windows and a large timber bi-fold door opening up the magnificent kitchen extension to a new patio area, which we had also extensively landscaped.
Large kitchen diner with wet under floor heating including utility room with additional built in cupboards.
Ground floor w/c with lobby area and access to reconfigured garage.
One of the many architectural features of the kitchen area was a large 8ft square roof lantern.
